An invitation to join the Charles Burns Family Association membership is extended to all people who have an interest in Charles Burns and his extended family, including allied families, historians, or those who are not yet certain if they are a descendant of Charles Burns.

A Tree Built Upon Records & DNA
We are building a fact-based family tree. And when we don't have facts, we will explore hypotheses and not publish speculation as fact.
From Many for All
Each member can write and share their family history and help build the unified, documented tree.
Expertise
No one can be an expert on all facets of genealogy. We will form teams to review and organize submitted genealogies, DNA matches discovered through FamilyTreeDNA™, historical articles, and electronic copies of photos, documents, and other heirlooms.
Learning Opportunities
We hold regular membership meetings to share our research, skills, bits of wisdom, and just simply have some fun!

Do you like to write? Are you itching to tell a story or share some photos? Then use our blog to share your knowledge with the world.
Social Connection
After years of remote communication, we want to gather cousins from hither and yon and we can meet in person to build family ties. Think history tours, family meals that share family recipes, activities for youngsters, you name it!
A Repository
We are building an indexed repository to safekeep family photographs, obituaries, family stories, and other treasures that can be electronically stored and shared with future generations. Further, we hope to establish a relationship with a museum that can house artifacts that are of historical interest.
